Hi there! Many of you already know me. I’m Mary Mangold, and I’ve been designing, building and hosting custom websites for businesses since 1999.
But IdahoCounty.com is different.
This one is a pet project — something I’ve dreamed about building ever since the IdahoCounty.com domain name was offered to me. I knew immediately that someday I wanted to turn it into something genuinely useful for the people, businesses and communities of Idaho County.
And now, that project is finally coming to life.
A Little About My Connection to Idaho County
Idaho County has been home since 1999, when my husband and I migrated here to join his brother, Tom.
Over the years, Bob and I have traveled, explored and enjoyed destinations throughout this enormous county — a county roughly the size of New Jersey, stretching from the Montana border on the east to Oregon on the west.
There is an extraordinary amount of beauty packed inside those boundaries: small communities, farmland, forests, rivers, mountains, businesses tucked into unexpected places and more backcountry than most people will ever have time to explore.
There is also an incredible assortment of local businesses, organizations and people who make Idaho County what it is.
That is what IdahoCounty.com is being built to showcase.
Starting With an Idaho County Business Directory
IdahoCounty.com is launching first as a focused local business directory for businesses with a physical Idaho County address.
Rather than becoming another enormous national directory filled with questionable listings, duplicate businesses and companies hundreds of miles away, IdahoCounty.com is intentionally local.
Every submitted listing will be reviewed before approval to help ensure that the directory truly represents businesses located within Idaho County.
Once your listing has been approved, the system will automatically send you an approval email.
Churches, clubs, nonprofit organizations and other community-oriented groups are also welcome to create listings.
